In response to a reader comment, The Council has just issued the following statement:
"In addition to NO ROAST FOR MEOW, there will also be no steak for Meow and NO PARADE FOR MEOW. We will not 'provide no roast.' There will simply BE no roast. For Meow. FOREVER."
Wow...it sounds like The Council means business...Is another round of probation on the horizon for ole' Citizen Meow? Stay tuned...

ReplyDeleteI wish to inform the Council that I take great umbrage with this new statement, which was released in response to an anonymous comment that had nothing to do with the undersigned.
We as a Lair are regressing with these pronouncements and causing discord among its constituents. The Council is acting impetuously and irrationally and I only wonder if these shenanigans continue if the Council can save itself from itself.
Appealing to the more conciliatory element of the Council, I will plead once more, publicly and directly, to Council Member E to reconsider retributive action against the embattled Citizen. Only you can intercede now as it appears extremist wings have taken over the Council's direction. Please renounce this action, swiftly and unambiguously, and steer the Council's direction toward peace and commonsense.
